Worked great
Worked great. Used two cases, one for ammo and one for a pistol while traveling. Each case was locked with different locks, one keyed and one combination. Carried the key for the keyed lock on my person when I had shed my carry rig for the day. I was able to relax and have fun with my nieces and nephews without worry about unauthorized access to my gun or ammo.

The original foam in my pistol case broke down. I had to trim this to fit in the case, but that was easy to do. The foam is firm, but not hard. It is a good replacement and far cheaper than buying a new case. I will choose this option in the future if any more foam breaks down.

Thought it would be a little larger from the pics
Thought it would be a little larger from the pics. Bought it for my 6" colt python but it fit my 1911 perfectly so I used it for that weapon instead.
