PICK & PLUCK PISTOL CASE
I found this case was great for storage and transport to and from the range. The stackable cases keeps my "armory" neat and organized and "Pick & Pluck" foam was easy to use work with. The case easily fits one full sized weapon and one extended capacity magazine. The only minor con I could find is the case latches are no reinforced, so I would be concerned with TSA transport.

A nice case for the price
A nice case for the price. It even came with a bonus multi tool with a plastic sleeve to store it in shown in the picture. The American flag logo was a nice touch! Not sure how well the plastic hinge pins will hold up, time will tell. The 3 included pick and pluck foam sheets were easy to work with.

This review is my first impressions of this case
This review is my first impressions of this case. Compact to carry with easy to use latches. I found the grid cut foam to be used to make a cut out for my pistol to be inventive and easy to use to make a fit for my pistol not some generic cutout. IMO if you only had one pistol, the grid could be used to make cutouts for 2 or 3 magazines too. Otherwise they could be foam protected on flat foam under the gun foam. From first impressions this will be a large step up from what I am currently using to transport my pistol. Update 7/15/21 After doing the pluck thing to make a cut out for my pistol, I would recommend the manufacturer use a higher density foam for this layer. And some better directions that make it plain the included tool can be used to help cut out the foam. Other than I have a sightly larger cutout than I wanted, the foam works ok. I put the unloaded plastic indicator that came with my Shield Plus into one of the slits so I can find it if needed. Then just lay the spare magazine on the top of the pick and pluck foam and close the case. So far works fine. I think with some care two compact pistols like the Shield Plus could fit in this one case. The extra foam layers supplied help cushion the pistol fine and I store the Shield manual and the case included tool between the middle and bottom foam layers. The slide locks work really easy too. If traveling with the case via plane I would suggest two high quality cable locks be used in the supplied holes in the slide locks. I have no recommendations for locks. IMO this is a good case and should last years of going to the range. Looks a lot more professional than pulling out the cardboard box my Shield Plus came in.

This case is exactly what I was looking for
This case is exactly what I was looking for. After reading multiple reviews I decided to purchase this. I have to say that my review is very high as well. My girlfriend and I are taking a trip in a couple weeks and wanted a safe, legal means of transporting our guns on the airplane. The pluck-a-part foam works perfectly to securely hold them inside the case. Pictured on the left are both of our daily carries. My Glock 23 and her SA XD-S, along with a magazine for each (admittedly a tight but secure fit) I'm sure it wouldn't take anyone very long to open the locked case but that's not why we purchased it. I can't speak to the ruggedness of it just yet although my initial impression is great. It should easily meet the airline's recommendation.

If "you get what you pay
If "you get what you pay for" was a thing, then this would be it. The product does what it is supposed to do, which is to be a place to store your weapon. Unless you get locks for it doesn't (or maybe it was just mine) tightly secure. I'm not bad-mouthing the product because I saw other cases and opted against them due to the price. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and would cautiously recommend.

Great Small Case
I got this case to replace my bulky Sig case to save space in my range backpack. It is perfect for light duty gun protection and travel! The multiple layers of foam is a nice touch as well.
