    Pick & Pluck Pistol case

Posted by John Ernest Coppola on Feb 1st 2020

Just purchased 2 of these Pistol cases and was very pleased with what showed up. Nice way to custom fit some of my pistols in a neat convenient package and to protect them from damage in transit to and from the range. Thanks for a nice product!

Purchased this case specifically to carry

Posted by Verified Buyer on Jan 15th 2020

Purchased this case specifically to carry a handgun from Arizona to home in Texas on an airline flight. It worked very well. Delivered within 24 hours. Once I received it, I fitted it to my handgun. The case came with several layers of foam rubber and can easily be adapted to the specific gun. It is not the heaviest material you can find on the market but is light weight. since the airline prefers that you carry the unloaded firearm (no ammunition in the locked case) inside your checked bag, the light weight and small size is a plus. I placed two locks on the gun case as it is capable of having two locks. The case worked extremely well for my purpose. In fact, I am considering purchasing one more for another gun in my possession. Quick note on carrying a firearm by commercial carrier as the airline web page will refer you to tsa.gov for specific instructions. The gun must be unloaded and no ammunition can be transported in the case. I put the live ammunition in a hard plastic ammo case typically used by folks who reload. Factory ammo boxes are ok. The folks at American Airlines were at first not sure my ammo case was appropriate. She quickly received the ok from her manager but told me where the Phoenix police office is and said they may have a box I could use. I packed my ammunition in another checked bag totally away from the bag containing the weapon. American Airlines had me sign a form with my certification that the weapon was not loaded. The Customer Service Agent then took me over to the TSA. TSA requested my keys to the locks on the case (they do not have to be TSA locks. I use brass locks I purchased with the case from Amazon). The TSA opened the case, verified the weapon no loaded and in a safe condition, relocked the case (all in my view) and handed the locked case and keys back to me. I placed the locked case back in the bag and the agent from American Airlines took it from there. Understand that the weapon, even though in a locked case, can not be in a "carry on" nor can the ammo be in a "carry on" bag. They must be in checked bags only.

I actually purchased this case to

Posted by Darth Rob on Jan 13th 2020

I actually purchased this case to be used for something other than firearms/pistols. I have plenty other cases for that, but this one would have worked fine if that's what I needed it for. The case arrived quickly and is exactly as described. Please keep the price point in mind. This is a low cost case. It is not designed or advertised to be a gun safe, waterproof or dropped from airplanes and obviously, a lower tier plastic case is not going to keep someone out. With that being said, it's fine for simple transport to and from the range or even inside checked luggage as other reviewers have commented. The case is free from defects and is solid enough. It would certainly survive simple falls and bumps. I actually purchased it to safely transport my Nintendo Switch because it has a larger grip on it that will not fit in other proprietary cases without removing the grips and that was obviously a pain. The pick and pluck foam worked fine and the case serves my purposes without any issues. I was able to customize the case to hold both my Switch and accessories. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I will definitely consider this brand if I have a future need for a low cost pistol case.

    Quality case

Posted by Kenny on Nov 2nd 2019

This case came with 4 total layers of foam, 3 on the bottom and 1 on top ( eggcrate style). 2 layers on the bottom were the pick and pluck and the very bottom was 3/16th plain foam. perfect for my P38.

Good Value, 3 layers of foam. Cut your pattern to fit. Easy to lock, will not pop open as soon as you remove your lock. Can hold two guns

    Firearm Case

I love the way my 1911 commander fit. My firearm is safe and enough room from extra mags and all. Great product.

Better case than included with purchase of 9mm

Posted by Danielle Jervis on Sep 6th 2019

I bought this case because I knew I was going to be flying soon. I love that I can personalize the foam and it’s able to be locked. It’s so much better than the case that came with my gun when I bought it.
