Nice quality and inexpensive case to
Nice quality and inexpensive case to store my pistol which the original case was broken and not working properly and completely unsecure (for the last 20 years). This case worked perfect and easily customized to fit my 1911 style firearm and do not have to worry about it falling out anymore. Would highly suggest this case if you don't have a case or the one you have is in poor condition. It sits in a large safe so I was not concerned about the physical security of the case itself so it was not a factor in buying this particular case. No matter what you buy the only way to ensure it stays put is put it in a heavy duty safe that can't be moved otherwise you could easily cut through it to access the firearm. For travel I would assume it would be fine with the proper locking mechanism applied.

It's a gun case with pick and pluck foam. It fits my G3C and 3 mags just fine. I don't have a lot to say about it, but it seems great for the money and sure seems like it will protect whatever's in it.

I have a First Choice Pistol case that is soft sided
I have a First Choice Pistol case that is soft sided. The design is to allow for 1-3 pistols to be stored in moveable velcro holster type holders with a velcro strap to hold the pistol in. With a 1911 it never seemed secure so I ordered this Pistol Foam case with the cutout for a 1911. The pistol fits perfectly in the cut out and the Foam material fits perfectly in my soft sided case. Very happy with this purchase.

Nanuk Case Locks don't fit.

The case is great. The only issue I have is with the video that is part of their Amazon advertisement, which resulted in me reducing the rating by one star. The video shows a TSA approved lock, of which the only manufacturer I can find is Nanuk. I purchased two cases and four locks (2 for each case) as I am traveling soon and intend to take my pistols. The Nanuk TSA locks, like the ones shown in the video DO NOT work with these cases - the pin is not long enough to enable you to lock the locks. Do not purchase the Nanuk TSA locks as shown in the video for this gun case. Unfortunately, Cedar Mills does not have the locks available anywhere.
