Fit perfectly, snug, pleased.

The case is well made and sturdy. I wish it was a tad bigger but that's my bad as the dimensions are clearly defined. I deducted a star because there's no back foam. Once you pull out the squares to fit your accessory the backside touches plastic. In retrospect I wish I had gone with a Pelican case.

Other than missing the foam under the pinch foam it's a great all around box from what I can see. It might not be crush proof but still well built. Was looking for a carry box that held more than 2 mags outside the gun itself like my factory Springfield Armory XD45 service came in. This box itself fills this very nicely in that if I don't count the one that can be carried in the gun this one can hold 4 and the gun itself. 4 X 13rnd double stacks and a 7 inch over all gun and still has some room for minor things. Best of all no jossling noises when it's picked up or shifted. Love the size for what it can hold as well. Good latches and good holes (x2) for locks. Over all I really like this case and might order another one for the price for my 1911 as well.

Nice case... would definitely purchase again. Just large enough for my 45 colt...

Great case. My Ruger Mark IV Hunter fits just right. Left plenty of room for three magazines. I have only one complaint. The pick and pluck foam goes all the way through the foam pad. In other words, once the foam is picked out to match the handgun, the handgun rests on the hard side because the partial cuts go all the through the foam instead of partial so a pad could be left on the bottom. To correct this, I had to take pieces I had plucked out, lay them on the side to get some padding on the outside between the gun and the case side.

Very nice case for the price, but this will only work with a semi automatic, my colt python would not fit in it and this is the large model.

Note that this case only comes with two layers of foam - the egg crate layer for the top and the pick & pluck layer for the bottom. I ended up trimming the foam down instead of fully removing the blocks so the contents wouldn't touch the bottom of the case. I asked the seller if they would include a separate bottom layer in the future, and they said they would discuss it with the factory and try to include it in next year's update. I gave the product five stars because the seller was very quick to respond to my messages and they assisted in every way possible. I'm truly satisfied with my purchase and hope the case lasts for years to come.

Aug 2020 update: This was brought to my attention last week - make sure your lock doesn't allow the case to be opened from the side. I had a luggage lock on one side and one could still open the case from the opposite side (see photos). I moved the lock to the handle to see if that worked better, and it did, as long as the lock was in the middle of the handle. No gripes with the case though, it has held up well these past four years. Just make sure you choose the appropriate lock (or two).
