Pick & Pluck Pistol Case

Used this gun safe to fly home with my new firearm. It was easily TSA approved with a trigger lock and two additional locks on the outside of the gun safe! Highly recommend

Good for the money

I purchased two of these gun cases to transport 2 Walther CCP 9 mm handguns. We were traveling by air. The two padlock spaces on the case, closes the case very securely. I placed 3 empty magazines under one side of the cases padding. My firearm is small enough that I did not need to cut out any foam to match its size. It still closed completely, and I felt it was more secure.

I have used this case for my pistol on multiple airlines on multiple flights without any issues. Sturdy enough to get the job done. It is worth the money, does not feel flimsy or cheap.

I actually purchased this case to be used for something other than firearms/pistols. I have plenty other cases for that, but this one would have worked fine if that's what I needed it for. The case arrived quickly and is exactly as described. Please keep the price point in mind. This is a low cost case. It is not designed or advertised to be a gun safe, waterproof or dropped from airplanes and obviously, a lower tier plastic case is not going to keep someone out. With that being said, it's fine for simple transport to and from the range or even inside checked luggage as other reviewers have commented. The case is free from defects and is solid enough. It would certainly survive simple falls and bumps. I actually purchased it to safely transport my Nintendo Switch because it has a larger grip on it that will not fit in other proprietary cases without removing the grips and that was obviously a pain. The pick and pluck foam worked fine and the case serves my purposes without any issues. I was able to customize the case to hold both my Switch and accessories. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I will definitely consider this brand if I have a future need for a low cost pistol case.

Well made and easy to customize for a perfect fit, even for something like a large vintage revolver. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I really did like this box. It's well made and very sturdy. The cushion pad inside has pre-cuts and ready to be pulled out to accommodate any pistol/revolver you have. Word of advice: purchase the recommended straight pin lock. Its a lot better than a regular pad lock. Padlocks can easy be clipped. The straight pin lock is completely protected from bolt cutters.

TSA did not like the locks I used as they said it allowed to much space to get your finger thru, but yet he did not care that he saw the ammo in the clip in the box when once closed he asked, is ammo in a separate container. I made eye contact with him and well yes.......and he slapped the seal sticker on and said have a good flight. They are so damn hypocritical ! They blast people for little aggravating red tape but let the stuff that should matter, well who cares about that!?! Anyhow, the container works as long as you have the right locks. The smaller the better!

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson..he liked it.

I knew I needed a certain measurement. It said it was 12 inside but it was just almost 12 on the outside. Then the case wouldn't close at first. I discovered an extra piece of foam inside and then it closed. It seemed a bit narrow width wise for a large revolver and it fit crosswise. I had picked up locks locally, I wish they had made a suggestions about the size I needed to go through the whole. The latches that keep the case closed were very sturdy. I was impressed with that. I ordered a new set of locks that will come tomorrow. The case seems sturdy. So once I got it closed I was happy. I feel It will serve my purposes. I was frustrated about the measurements on Amazon. It was the second one I ordered and I thought initially Oh No I need to return this one too? When I thought it wasn't going to fit, I reacted. Then, I took a deep breath and paid closer attention and all was good. I would suggest the mfg show larger revolvers and the model inside the case so you can get an accurate idea of what will fit. I am happy with my purchase.

This case is better than some and is certainly acceptable. It's about the same quality case I have received free with tool and/or firearms. The plastic isn't flimsy, but neither is it super sturdy. The thick pre-cut foam is easily tailored to your device, so that's a plus versus cases with the cheapo egg crate style foam. There are better cases available for similar cost, but there are also worse ones and some of those you can get for 50% to 75% of the cost of this one are just crappy.
